Seize the day!

When I got home today after a long day at school, hungry and tired, I found a little packet in my mailbox. To my surprise it contained a cute little book with encouraging "seize the day" kind of quotes. Only after opening it I saw my mom's name written on the envelope. Thanks mom, you're the sweetest!

I especially liked this quote from Mark Twain:
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did.
So throw off the bowlines,
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore.
Dream.
Discover.

Wanda the Fish told me this morning;
Civilization is the limitless multiplication of unnecessary necessities.
-- Mark Twain

In case you are wondering, Wanda the fish is a nice virtual fish on one of my taskbars.

I prefer real fish, to be honest, grilled or fried!

Ooooh and shrimps and clams! Cooked clams are so good.

Wanda just told me;
You feel a whole lot more like you do now than you did when you used to.
Think about that one *wink*

Hmm actually this should be under Fuzzy concepts.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you.
This is the principal difference between a dog and a man.
