Soon my neighbor will be moving out. His room is both bigger and cheaper than mine, so as soon as he's gone, I'm dragging my furniture there, leaving my current room free. I already know who will live there, namely my cousin Thijs.
It sounds simple, but to be honest it's a lot of work. The entire house has to be cleaned, painted, both gardens tended and stuff moved from here to there. I have been quite busy and there's a lot more to be done. The bathroom looks nice and tidy again, all white and clean. As soon as my new room is empty, I can start there.

Besides these domestic affairs I'm still working on the Big Project for my study of course. We got some sensors working now and are planning to put some stuff together in 2 weeks, to test it out. We have a month before the deadline, that should be plenty but still feels like a really short time.

Got pretty nasty sunburn, bought more water than beer, because of the heat. My nostrils are still filled with the smell of pee. The festival was absolutely disgusting.

Some of the music was cool and the company terrific, but right now the horrors of the burning sun and the rivulets of urine on the festival grounds and the lack of toilets at the camping and the half hour walk from and to our tents through mud and debris and puddles and smelliness lingers.
